Church AGM
… we will meet together downstairs in the church hall at 12:15 today for lunch before the AGM. All welcome as we celebrate all God has done in the life of our church over the past year, and look forward to what He has in store for the next year. Janine is available to look after children upstairs during the meeting.

… there has been one leadership nomination this year: Margaret Jones for eldership. Voting on this nomination will take place at the AGM.

Join us in the upstairs lounge on Wednesday 1st September at 7:30pm for a time of prayer asking God to break through in our lives and through the church to the wider community.

News from Jeehye & Sichul
Do you remember the young Korean couple who was with us for 3 months, and Jeehye played the piano for most of that time? Well, they are expecting twins tomorrow! Please pray for them as the babies are induced. And especially for the twin who has a hole in the heart, and for the surgeon who will be standing by to operate as soon as he is born.

Media Prayer Day

Millions of dollars are spent every year to harness the media’s power to sell ideas, and those working within the mass media have a privileged position that can impact the lives of thousands of people, for good or bad. Let’s join Christians throughout New Zealand today and pray that the media will be a tool to draw people to faith in God.

Auckland Baptist Tabernacle Trust Grant

The wonderful news is that the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle Trust has approved our grant application for $3587 to replace the sound desk mixer.

 

E100 Study Group

We are meeting this coming week on Wednesday 21 July and warmly invite along anyone who would like to discuss their thoughts about Psalms and Proverbs and The Prophets (weeks 9 &10).

A Caleb Leadership Ministries course which gives insights into how people deliver their thoughts, ideas and hopes, and how we can better understand the way they think so that we can communicate more effectively with them.

Youth this Friday…
Mid-Winter Christmas Party
Hi everyone, the Kids Church and Youth are throwing a mid-winter Christmas Party for the whole church. It’s this Friday (25th June), starting at 6.00pm in the downstairs hall. There will be craft activities and games for the children followed by a dinner and concert. (If you would like to take part in the concert please let Allan know as soon as possible). Cost is $5.00 per person, with children 3yrs and under free. The evening should finish around 8.30pm.

E100 Study Group
We will meet at Pam’s this coming Wednesday (23rd June) evening at 7:30. We will be reviewing The Law and the Land and The Judges (readings 21-30). All welcome.

A “Time-Out For You!!”
Our next time together will be a Mid-Winter Christmas Celebration on Thursday 24th June, 7:30-9:30pm. During the evening, we’ll learn how to make Christmas crackers, and share in lots of team-spirited fun. Please invite your friends, neighbours and guests – all are welcome. Auckland Baptist Women’s Ministry
